KITE POWER is the first kiteboarding center to be established in El Gouna. Since 2004 it has been a friendly paradise for all kiters and is constantly trying to bring new opportunities. Since its inception, the center has undergone several changes and now offers modern facilities and a station where you can expect the highest standards 365 days a year.

The current form of the KITE POWER centre is thanks to its current owners Lukáš and Andrea… Both are passionate about this adrenaline sport. Lukas has been kiteboarding since 2006, he is a Czech champion and also an instructor. Together with his wife and the whole team they are trying to create a place that will offer those interested in kiteboarding and advanced kiters everything in one place. So that all visitors can learn to kitesurf quickly and safely and fall in love with the sport just like everyone at KITE POWER.

How long has Kitepower El Gouna been operating?

Kitepower El Gouna was founded in 2004 and is the first kitesurfing center established in El Gouna. We have been operating continuously for over 20 years, making us the longest-running kite school in the area.

Who runs Kitepower El Gouna?

Kitepower El Gouna is run by Lukash and Andrea Vogeltanz, who joined as co-owners in 2022. Lukash is a professional kiter and multiple Czech kiteboarding champion who has been riding since 2006. Andrea is a kiter and Flysurfer brand ambassador who manages the centre operations, client communication and social media. Before Kitepower, they ran their own kite school Kite4fun from 2011 to 2022.

What certifications do your instructors have?

All our instructors hold internationally recognized IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and/or VDWS (German Water Sports Association) certifications. They are full-time professionals with many years of teaching experience, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards.

What brands and equipment does Kitepower El Gouna work with?

We are brand ambassadors for Flysurfer, Levitaz and ION. We use premium, regularly updated equipment for all lessons and rentals. Our gear is suited for kitesurfing, wingfoiling and hydrofoiling.
