Kite rental is available for independent riders (advanced level with safe upwind riding and self-rescue skills). If you’re a beginner or not yet independent, the best option is to book a kitesurf course in El Gouna – equipment is included in lessons and you’ll progress faster and safer.
EQUIPMENT INSURANCE
Rental does not include insurance by default. For peace of mind, you can add our damage coverage (paid on-site) – ideal if you want to ride stress-free during your El Gouna holiday. If you already have your own travel/sports insurance, we can issue an invoice for any damage (payable immediately) so you can claim it later.
INFLATABLE KITE (LEI)
The inflatable kite is characterized by its solid construction (main wing and spirals), which we create by inflating the kite with a hand-held air pump. This type of kite was made primarily for the use of kiting on the water surface, i.e. for kitesurfing. The inflated body of the kite does not sink after falling into the water and, moreover, it still holds its desired shape, which is necessary for restarting the kite after falling to the water surface. Leading edge inflatable kites are generally used for kitesurfing and kiteboarding in many different sizes, most commonly from 5 to 18 square meters.

FOIL KITE
Foil kites are inspired by paragliding technology – their profile is shaped by internal ribs and air inlets on the leading edge. They offer excellent low-end power, huge depower and are a perfect match for light-wind kitesurfing in El Gouna. Closed-cell foil kites can be water-relaunched, but they require correct technique – if you’re not 100% confident, ask our team to recommend the best setup for your level.

INSURANCE
With our insurance, we cover one damage incident per week (up to 200€) per customer. Lost equipment is not covered. Insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence. Insurance must be purchased before using the equipment. Kite lines are not included.
If no insurance is purchased, please refer to the price list for damaged equipment. Damages occurring during kite lessons will be covered by Kitepower El Gouna, unless caused by negligence—in which case, the customer is responsible.
