09:00Arrive
Walk through the pergola and the whole plan becomes simple: breakfast in the shade, the water a few steps away and nowhere else you need to be.
SALT and Kitepower share one beach, so the day never has to split in two.
11:30Get on the water
The school and private lagoon are right in front of SALT. While one of you rides, the others can stay by the water, read, play or simply watch the kites go by.
13:30Come off the water hungry
Mediterranean and international food is made fresh here: pizza, burgers, bowls and Red Sea fish, with Andrea shaping the menu, presentation and room around it.
This is an owner-run restaurant, not hotel catering.

16:00Choose your rhythm
Children have play and creative areas with an accompanying adult; remote workers have a quiet, air-conditioned room with a lagoon view. Or choose a sun bed and do absolutely nothing.
The family areas are not supervised childcare; an accompanying adult remains responsible.
SUNSETSlow down
Move from the lagoon to a sun bed, a shaded lounge or the bar. Drinks, friends and the last light over the beach turn the end of a session into the quieter half of the day.
For kiters, non-kiters and families, SALT keeps the day together in one place.
Andrea's kitchen
Mediterranean and international, made fresh: stone-base pizza, burgers, poke-style bowls, Red Sea fish, real cocktails and a smoothie bar. Co-owner Andrea designs every dish — the plating, the plates, the glassware — and runs the floor herself. This is an owner's restaurant, not hotel catering. Open from breakfast to the last guest.
It's the same idea as the school: owner-operated, with the owners on the beach every day — so you actually meet the person behind your plate.

Sun beds, palm shade and two bars steps from the water. Whether you've just come off a session or never plan to get wet, this is the social heart of the spot — where everyone ends the day with the lagoon turning gold. About 8 out of 10 of our guests come back, and this is where the community lives.

Real fruit and vegetables, blended fresh on the beach — light, healthy fuel built for athletes, not sugary slush. Greens, protein and detox blends with oat or coconut milk, plus fresh juices, milkshakes and mocktails. Grab one between sessions, or sip it in the shade with the lagoon out front.

Family & the playground
SALT is the most kid-ready kite beach in El Gouna. There's an indoor play room for toddlers (about 1–4) with toys, games and shade, and a big wooden playground for older kids (about 4–10): rope bridges, climbing nets, tyres and trampolines sunk into the soft sand, all under shade sails and palms — a few steps from your table, so you can watch from the restaurant or the bar.
Add volleyball, football and bean-bag corners in the shade. The playground and kids' areas are not supervised childcare; an accompanying adult remains responsible. Kids from around 5–6 years (≈20 kg) can learn to kite or wing on a program built just for them. Our own children grow up on this beach; that's why the setting was designed with family time in mind.

Activities with Mano
Activities with Mano is an air-conditioned family craft room right at SALT — a place for kids aged 4–10 to paint, draw, make things and play games under a hand-painted jungle. It is an activity area, not supervised childcare; an accompanying adult remains responsible and stays with the child.

Workation
Glass-walled, air-conditioned, with the lagoon right outside the window. The thermal wind typically builds in the late morning — so clear your inbox over breakfast and be on the water when it fills in. From our own weather station, about 77% of days a year are rideable (peaking around 85% in August) — the cleanest workation logic in El Gouna.

When the wind drops
Pool, foosball, ping-pong and darts inside, and the whole of El Gouna a tuk-tuk away — golf, the Sliders cable park, desert safari, day trips to Luxor. The wind shows up most days, but when it doesn't, a calm day here still beats a windy day almost anywhere else.

Travelling with someone who kites?
The most common worry we hear: "what will my partner do all day?" At SALT, that question answers itself — food, bars, a lounge on the water, coworking and the kids covered. So the kiter can book lessons without guilt, and everyone's having a better day than at the hotel pool.
Locals, hotel guests, kiters, families — the beach club is open to everyone, every day of the week. Walk in, pick a lounger or a table, and stay as long as you like.
Open daily from breakfast — from 8:00 in winter, 9:00 in summer. The kitchen and bars serve until the last guest leaves.
North El Gouna, right on the Kitepower kite lagoon — the last beach in the north. Reach us by tuk-tuk, local taxi or a currently available booking service; confirm the fare and journey time for your district before travelling.
