Why a bundle wins

Think in weeks, not hours.

If you're flying in for a week, the number that matters isn't the price of one lesson — it's the cost of the whole trip, and how much water time you actually get. A Kite Week does that math in your favour: course + rental days, one honest price, no hidden spot fees, no surprises at the desk.

Two-way helmet coaching

BB Talkin Bluetooth helmets — your instructor talks you through every move, live, in the water.

Standard max 2 students

Standard lessons stay at max 2 students per instructor. More water time, faster progress.

Wind Guarantee

How semi-private pairing works: semi-private means 2 students of similar weight share one kite. If we can’t pair you with a same-weight partner, you have two options — ride private 1:1 at the private rate, or keep the semi-private price and ride 1:1 for the equivalent (shorter) water time. You’re told up front, so it’s never a surprise and you never pay more than you booked.

Kids ride too — same price, their own program (from ~20 kg / 5–6 years). See the kids program → · Want to gift a week? Kite Week gift vouchers →

    The week you'll actually get

A week here almost always delivers.

Other schools promise "constant wind" with nothing to back it. We measure it. Our own weather station has logged 4 years and 2 million+ readings: about 77% of days are rideable year-round (12+ knots holding 2+ daytime hours) — August 85%, September 83%, October 81%. Over a full week, that's why a Kite Week works.

% of days with a rideable session (≥ 12 kt for ≥ 2 h of daylight), from our station (2022–2026). Summer = boardshorts; winter ≈ 22 °C air, so pack a full wetsuit — not a shorty. Check the live forecast & beach cam →

Kite Week — your questions, answered.

What if there's no one my weight for a semi-private lesson?

Semi-private means 2 students of similar weight share one kite. If we can't pair you with a same-weight partner, you have two options: ride private 1:1 at the private rate, or keep the semi-private price and ride 1:1 for the equivalent (shorter) water time. We tell you up front, so it's never a surprise — and you never pay more than you booked.

How much does a week of kitesurfing lessons in El Gouna cost?

The Kite Week is €645 all-in: the 8-hour Zero to Hero course plus 2 conditional rental days, with the IKO skills record, beach access and rescue support during operating hours included — no hidden fees. Booked separately, the same course alone is €465 semi-private or €695 private.

What's the difference between a package and booking a course separately?

A Kite Week combines your course with reserved rental days at one visible price. Those rental days are usable only after you demonstrate independent riding, upwind control and self-rescue; course completion alone does not release the gear. Local rules, current conditions and equipment availability still apply. The Zero to Hero course is €465 (semi-private) / €695 (private), and adding 2 conditional rental days makes it €645 / €875.

How many rideable days can I expect in a week in El Gouna?

From our own weather station — 4 years and 2 million+ readings — about 77% of days a year are rideable (the wind holds 12+ knots for at least 2 daytime hours). August peaks around 85% and even December still rides about 6 days in 10. Over a full week that's why a Kite Week almost always delivers — and you can check the live forecast and beach cam before you even pack.

What happens if there's no wind during my Kite Week?

Nothing is lost. Our Wind Guarantee means your booked hours never expire — you simply ride them when the wind returns, on this trip or the next. So a low-wind day is never a wasted day or wasted money.

Will I be able to ride on my own after the package?

No package can guarantee independent-rider status. The 8-hour Zero to Hero course is typically planned across 3–5 days and works from body-drag and water starts towards controlled riding. Rental follows only after you demonstrate the required skills and the day's conditions, local rules and equipment availability allow it.

What should I bring in winter?

In summer it's boardshorts or a bikini. In winter the air sits around 22 °C and the water is cooler, so you'll want a full, long wetsuit (we provide it) — not a shorty and not boardshorts. A hoodie for the beach helps too.

Can kids do a Kite Week?

Yes. Kids can start from around 5–6 years (≈20 kg) on a program built for them. Board-control drills use the first roughly 800 m teaching area when the actual water level and the child's height allow them to stand. Same price as adults, different program.

Do you have wingfoil packages too?

Yes — a Wing Week combines a 5-hour wing-foil beginner course with conditional rental days in our dedicated deeper foil zone. The IWO record reflects only skills demonstrated. Rental begins only after you demonstrate upwind foiling and self-rescue and the local check confirms suitable conditions and available equipment.

How do I book — is there a separate 'Kite Week' product?

You book through KiteHub. The Zero to Hero + 2 rental days bundle has its own direct booking links — semi-private (€645) and private (€875) — so you land straight on the right product with the total shown before you pay. For a custom mix of course hours and rental days, pick it in the KiteHub app. Not sure which week fits? Message us on WhatsApp at +20 128 888 2047 and we'll set it up for you.
