You already ride upwind
You go upwind on your own (≈ IKO Level 3), do transitions, maybe small jumps — and you want unhooked tricks, bigger air and pop. You're in exactly the right place.

Freestyle coaching · El Gouna, Egypt · since 2004
Butter-flat lagoon water. Steady cross-onshore wind. And coaching from a team rider who works with the best in the world. This is where good kiters go unhooked.
Freestyle is coaching, not a first lesson
Freestyle is an Evolution discipline — coaching for riders who already ride. We'd rather send you to the right place than sell you the wrong one.
You go upwind on your own (≈ IKO Level 3), do transitions, maybe small jumps — and you want unhooked tricks, bigger air and pop. You're in exactly the right place.
Begin with our 8-hour Zero to Hero beginner course — from your first kite to riding upwind. Then come back for freestyle.
Why tricks are born here
The first roughly 800 m teaching area has flat, knee-to-waist-deep water over sand — often stand and reset when the actual depth suits the rider and location. Water is usually flat, but chop and water movement vary; prevailing wind is generally N–NW with a cross-onshore component of 15–25 kt. The independent zone is your freestyle playground; rescue support is available during operating hours, but a specific intervention or response time cannot be guaranteed.
Coached by the eye that sharpens a world champion
Finn Flügel — 2025 GKA Freestyle World Champion — trains at our home spot, coached by our co-owner Lukáš, an IKO Level-3 coach across every discipline and a team rider for Flysurfer and Levitaz. The same eye that fine-tunes a champion's handle pass watches your edge — in plain language, in your ear, mid-trick.

Your trick ladder
We enter the ladder at your current level and build one movement on the last. It is a coaching route, not a fixed syllabus, calendar or promised trick; your foundations and the conditions set the pace.

Two-way BB Talkin Bluetooth helmets mean your coach corrects the trick the moment it goes wrong — and you can ask back, in real time. For freestyle, where a fraction of a second decides the pass, that two-way line is the difference. Most schools have one-way radios or nothing at all.
How freestyle coaching is priced
Advanced riders book Open Hours — pay-as-you-go coaching, priced per hour by the total hours you ride. The more you ride, the lower the rate. There's no rigid "advanced course" — you build the block you want, with your coach.
| Open Hours · per hour | 2 riders | Private 1:1 |
|---|---|---|
| 1h | €80 | €110 |
| 2–4h | €75 | €105 |
| 5–8h | €70 | €100 |
| 9h+ | €60 | €90 |
| Book in the booking app | ||
Rate is set by your total hours ridden — ride 5 hours over a week and you're in the 5–8 h tier. Not sure how many hours you need? Send us a clip on WhatsApp and we'll suggest a realistic block. New here? Compare the structured Refresh courses.
How semi-private pairing works: semi-private means 2 students of similar weight share one kite. If we can’t pair you with a same-weight partner, you have two options — ride private 1:1 at the private rate, or keep the semi-private price and ride 1:1 for the equivalent (shorter) water time. You’re told up front, so it’s never a surprise and you never pay more than you booked.
Pick your window with real numbers
About 77% of days a year are rideable — peaking around 85% in August. We measure it ourselves with our own weather station (2 million+ readings over 4 years), plus a 16-day forecast and a live webcam. Summer is boardshorts; winter means a full wetsuit, not a shorty.
