One lagoon, three zones — separating teaching, independent riding and foiling traffic.
The lagoon runs 2–3 km long and about 1 km wide. In the first roughly 800 m of the teaching area, depth is typically knee-to-waist over sand and riders can often stand when actual depth allows. Water is usually flat, but chop and movement vary. We split it into a teaching zone, an independent-riders zone, and a wing/foil zone. Stones and reef sit only on the far side — follow the marked boundaries and the team's live instructions.

Where you learn
The first roughly 800 m teaching area is knee-to-waist deep over sand; many learners can stand and reset there depending on the actual depth. Beginners never share water with freestylers.

Is everything at Kitepower El Gouna on one beach?
Yes. The school, three riding zones, SALT restaurant, kids' playground, glass coworking, rental and storage are together on one private lagoon in North El Gouna. Rescue support is available during operating hours, without a guaranteed intervention or response time. Accommodation is arranged separately, a few minutes away.

Is the El Gouna kite spot suitable for beginners?
The first roughly 800 m of the teaching area is typically knee-to-waist deep over sand, and the active zone is selected from the actual depth and conditions. We teach max 2 students per instructor with two-way BB Talkin helmets and keep a separate beginner zone. Rescue support is available during operating hours; intervention and response times are not guaranteed.
What is there to do for non-kiters at the base?
Plenty. SALT beach club & restaurant on the sand, two massage rooms, an on-site shop, a kids' playground, glass-walled coworking with a sea view and air-con, sun loungers and a beach lounge. The playground is not supervised childcare, so an accompanying adult remains responsible.
Is there a massage and a shop on the base?
Yes — both. Two treatment rooms offer sport, Thai, relaxing oil, aromatherapy, 4-hands and reflexology massages (plus manicure and pedicure) to recover between sessions, and a proper on-site shop stocks Flysurfer kites and wings, Levitaz foils, wetsuits, accessories and Kitepower merch.
