Why Kitepower

The voucher is time with a school whose history dates to 2004, at its current northern El Gouna base since 2016 and co-owned and run by Lukáš and Andrea since 2023. Here’s what the recipient walks into:

• The lagoon. Our spot sits at the far north of El Gouna. The first roughly 800 m is knee-to-waist deep over sand; a dedicated deeper foil zone is used when tide and conditions provide suitable depth.
• Straight into the water. Beginners don’t spend a day flying a trainer kite on the beach. After a short safety briefing and rigging on the sand, initial drills move into the first roughly 800 m knee-to-waist-deep teaching area for body-dragging and first water starts when conditions suit.
• Two-way helmet coaching. Every student wears a two-way BB Talkin Bluetooth helmet, so the instructor can talk to you and hear you in real time on the water — a huge boost to how fast you progress, with a maximum of two students per instructor.
• Certification of the achieved level. IKO certification for kite courses (IWO for wingfoiling) is included and records the level the student actually demonstrates. Rental centres still make their own skill, rules, conditions and availability checks.
