A full-day trip to El Gouna's emptiest flat water: you ride out on your own gear, and our Zodiac rescue boat anchors at Bayoud with your friends — basic rescue, fresh water, fruit and sandwiches on board. You ride glassy turquoise around the boat, far from the crowded main spot.

01 Before anyone leaves shore
Tell reception or WhatsApp your dates, group and disciplines. We check the conditions and availability, then confirm the Zodiac, crew and price for that specific day.
Bayoud is arranged individually, not sold as a fixed ticket or a trip that runs regardless of the weather.
02 Morning · beach to Bayoud
You ride from the Kitepower beach to Bayoud on your own kite, wing, parawing or foil while the Zodiac heads out separately. Confident upwind riding, equipment control and self-rescue are prerequisites.
The boat is basic rescue cover and a rest base on the spot. It is not a taxi for riders or equipment.
03 At Bayoud · Zodiac on anchor
The Zodiac anchors at Bayoud with drinking water, fruit and sandwiches. It becomes the group's visual reference, rest stop and basic rescue base while riders circle the surrounding flats.
Boat support reduces risk but does not make offshore riding risk-free or replace independent judgement. Other riders from our beach may also ride around the anchored boat.
04 Open water · advanced riders
The reward is glassy turquoise water away from the main teaching zone. Kite, wing, parawing and kite-foil riders can share the day when their independence, pace and the conditions fit.
It is a supported riding day, not a lesson and not a private promise of completely empty water.
05 Lunch · second session · ride home
Because the Zodiac is arranged for the day, you can ride back to Kitepower for lunch at SALT, rest out of the midday sun and return for an afternoon session when the plan and conditions still fit.
You finish the way you began: riding your own gear back to the beach. The crew confirms the day's sequence with the group before departure.

Booking a Bayoud trip
Bayoud trips always run by prior arrangement: talk to our reception or message us with your date and what you ride. We schedule the Zodiac rescue boat and crew and stock the refreshments — and because the boat sits on anchor for the day, it's not a fixed private charter: your friends ride together, and other kiters from our beach can join around it. We arrange each Bayoud day, and its price, with you directly.
Rescue cover, water, fruit & sandwiches on board — price quoted per trip
Bayoud is a stretch of glassy, turquoise flat water about 2–3 km off the Kitepower beach in El Gouna — the kind of empty, butter-flat riding you normally only see in kite movies. It's not reachable on foot, which is exactly why it never gets the main-spot crowd: you ride it with boat support.
You book the day in advance at our reception, and we arrange our Zodiac rescue boat for the day. In the morning you ride out to Bayoud on your own gear while the Zodiac heads out and anchors on the spot; you ride around it with basic rescue cover, fresh water, fruit and sandwiches on board. Because the boat is booked for the whole day, you can ride back to the base for lunch and go out for a second session in the afternoon.
Riding, on your own gear — Bayoud is about 2–3 km from our beach, and the crossing is part of why the trip is advanced-only. The Zodiac doesn't ferry riders or equipment; it's anchored on the spot as your rescue cover and refreshment base.
Advanced, independent riders — kitesurfers, wingfoilers, parawing riders and kite hydrofoilers who ride confidently upwind and want clean, empty water with their friends, away from the busy main spot. It's not for beginners or students: if you're still learning, our lagoon and lessons are the right place.
That's the whole point of the format: our Zodiac rescue boat is anchored on the spot with you for the entire session, with basic rescue included. You're never riding open water alone — the boat is your fixed reference point and your rest stop, and if you need a rescue, it's already on site.

Full meals wait back at SALT, our beach restaurant, and the day format is built so you can ride the morning, eat lunch at the base and go back out after.
Yes — kitesurfing, wingfoil, parawing and kite hydrofoil all work at Bayoud, and one boat covers everyone riding around it. Bring the friends you want to ride with; and because the Zodiac is on anchor, other kiters from our beach can come out and ride around it too.

Own gear or rental both work. Our rental fleet covers wings, foils and kite-foil setups — tell us what you need when you book the trip and we'll have it ready on the day.
