Head coach Lukáš Vogeltanz selects the instructors, develops their riding and teaching, observes real sessions and follows up with concrete feedback. The team meets every week to turn what happened on the water into better decisions for the next student.
You may train with Lukáš or one of his coaches. The method, safety standards and attention to your progression stay connected.

How we develop the people who teach you
Great coaches are not certified once. They keep improving.
Instructor development at Kitepower does not stop with an IKO card.
During the day, Lukáš Vogeltanz watches lessons, writes down concrete observations and follows up with each instructor. When the team rides together, he also coaches their own technique. Stronger riders demonstrate more clearly, spot mistakes sooner and teach with greater precision.
Every week we sit down as a team, review real situations from the water and share what each person learned. This continuous loop turns individual experience into one school-wide standard.

The standard has an owner
Lukáš Vogeltanz does not need to lead every lesson for his experience to shape it.
Lukáš Vogeltanz — Kitepower's co-owner and head coach has taught since 2009 as an IKO Head Instructor and rides across kitesurfing, hydrofoil, wingfoil, parawing, pumpfoil and strapless disciplines. He selects the coaching team, watches how it teaches and develops how it rides.
Direct coaching with Lukáš is available by prior arrangement. Day-to-day lessons are led by the team he develops and the standards he personally oversees.

Straight answers
What does the Academy change for your booking?
Is Kitepower Academy a separate course or an extra fee?
No. The Academy is the coaching system behind Kitepower's lessons and progression programs. You book the course that fits your level; the selection, review and development of coaches sit behind it.
Will Lukáš Vogeltanz teach me personally?
Direct coaching with Lukáš is available by prior arrangement and subject to availability, especially for private performance sessions. Most daily lessons are led by experienced instructors from the team he selects, develops and oversees.
Is the Academy only for advanced riders?
No. The method begins with first-time students. Beginners need a clear progression path and consistent decisions just as much as advanced riders need precise technical feedback.
How many students train with one instructor?
Our standard setup is a maximum of 2 students per instructor with one complete equipment set, taking turns. Up to four capable, level-matched riders can train together only by prior agreement and with multiple complete equipment sets.
Which sports and levels are covered?
Kitesurfing from beginner to freestyle, wave and hydrofoil; wingfoiling; parawing; pumpfoiling; and boat foiling. We route you to the program that matches what you can already do and what you want next.
How does IKO fit into the Kitepower Method?
Kitepower is an IKO Pro Center and uses the IKO progression and safety framework. The Academy adds continuous coach observation, rider development, weekly reviews and the school's own spot-specific experience on top.
